"Inspired by the jewellery of Paris and Spain, Kate started making and selling her own work at the Greville Street markets before opening stores in the CBD’s Manchester Unity Building and in Elwood.

The success of a small exhibition in the East Village, NYC, led her to concentrate on a collection for an exhibition in Fitzroy, which sold out. This inspired a move to London in 2003, where her work was picked up by Antipodium Agency and sold to Liberty of London, SAKS 5th Ave in NYC, Harvey Nichols London and outlets in Asia." - KT Jewel Website
