KOMICHI SHIRT

The Komichi is not your ordinary shirt. Cut from a linen-cotton pinstripe in a warm earthy tone, it sits cropped at the hip with an asymmetrical hem that drops longer on one side — a small subversion that shifts the whole silhouette.

The collar is sharp. The buttons are considered. A large patch pocket sits low and off-centre at the front, pulling the eye downward and breaking the symmetry in exactly the right way. Turn around and three buttons descend the centre back — a detail that exists not for function but for the person who notices it.

Relaxed in proportion, precise in detail. Worn open over a knit or buttoned to the collar with wide trousers, the Komichi Shirt resists easy categorisation and is better for it.
